The Maranta Erythroneura Red/Black Prayer Plant is grown for their attractive foliage. The Red/Black Prayer Plant have oval shaped, deep greenish-black leaves with a distinctive pattern on the top side of the leaf with a red vein and stripe. The leaves have a habit of lying flat during the day, and folding in an erect position at night as if in prayerm hence the common name 'prayer plant'. Ensure there is good filtered light. They do best in will draining soil. Water when the top layer of soil starts to dry.
